Considering I'm a hell of a lot more nostalgic for Emerald than I am for KSS or MKDD I'm kind of surprised I'm killing it now but Dekka's point about not having the physical/special split has spoken to me a lot more than I thought

Yeah, my points distribution is skewed by the facts that the first Pokemon game I actually played (sadly the last one so far, but Gen 7 Pokemon Showdown is fun) is Pokemon Diamond, I've played Kirby Super Star for, like, 10 minutes on an emulator, and I've played MKDD for a snot-ton longer than that.
(The KSS play session was with my cousin and we fought against Dyna Blade. Trying to control Plasma Wisp wasn't so fun, and I found I preferred playing as ground-bound helpers. We never did play the Revenge of Meta Knight sub-game together...)
