What's wrong with Finale Notepad?

Whenever I begin playing a sheet - it starts in the middle of the first measure.  Also, whenever I press pause, it repeats the last half measure....what's going on (should I uninstall and reinstall?) never had problems with it before...

I would uninstall and reinstall it, and see if problems persist.

the ' goes after the o not before it...
