Apart from Undertale I'm fine with the finalists. Too bad I didn't noticed this until like the finals when all Melee groups made me aware of it, it would've been fun voting in the earlier stages as well. One game I missed was a game from the Guitar Hero series. Guitar Hero 3 is easily one of the best games I've ever played.

Honestly Undertale is only winning because it's so new and I hate it. To compare Undertale to OoT is absolutely absurd. But what can I say? Most kids/voters these days haven't even heard of those "old" games.

I just can't actually believe that Undertale could be that good. I just cannot believe it. I'm incapable of believing it. Not denial; I just don't believe it.

Not believing it without playing it is denial tbh and this "older is better" attitude that pervades the gaming industry is really problematic

Them Undertale Fanbase is too strong for Maylay to comprehend.

OoT trumps Undertale infinitely in gameplay, arguably the most important factor in games, as well as in graphics. However, Undertale exceeds in everything else, including music, characterization, and story (Zelda games don't often have a very extensive story).

I want Undertale to win simply because OoT has already won past competitions twice already; another game should get a chance.

In my opinion, although OoT has some very notable themes, such as Gerudo Valley, the entire soundtrack as a whole isn't nearly as good as Undertale's.

Honestly, I believe that quite a few people on GameFAQs need to have a big honkin' cup of chill-the-fuck-out. The amount of vitriol being spewed is incredible. I just don't see any reasonable explanation as to why so much drama needs to be created over this.
