As for the music, it's important to know how rock bands are typically set up, so you know what parts to expect to hear from the song: lead, rhythm, bass, and drums. Right now you have a faithful transcription of of the lead melody and the bass ostinato, but it lacks presence. I would suggest adding some harmonies into the RH to emulate some of the rhythmic punch of the percussion and to make the texture fuller (thereby filling in the void from the lack of rhythm guitar).
