The soundtrack of SuperPMD has a rather unique palette. The following song uses a balaban, a double-reeded Middle Eastern instrument. Other ethnic instruments have been part of previous PMD OSTs (most notably the bagpipe), but this is a very interesting development indeed. The file name of the song is "BGM_EVE_SCENERY", so I can't help but imagine it's the new "Bubbles Shining Over the Sea".

The Japanese website for PSMD updated recently. Just some details on the Guild/Expedition Society and whatnot. Really liked this new art for Mewtwo though!

I was kinda hoping for something more zany (like the Japanese ad from months back), but I guess playing it safe is okay. Not a big fan of the voice-over though -- sounds too mechanical.
