Can you submit game-mod themes?

One simple question:

I wonder if you can arrange and submit themes from game mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Smash Bros. Project M??

If so:
How do you make the copyright??

Well, even if those kind of arrangements don't make it to the site, you can always share them here at the forums or elsewhere.

^My thought exactly. Such arrangements from such games could get us in trouble with Nintendo through other copyright issues. If we have a song from a mod that didn't appropriately credit Nintendo, we could get in trouble by affiliating with them.
