Finished a new arrangement! New Messiah from Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge! This song is so epic, and I think my arrangement is really good, which I'm really proud of. This song was quite tricky to arrange, being a rock/metal song, sort of, and having constant repeated notes in the LH. But I think I manage to make it as pianistic as possible using a variety of repeated notes, tremolo and also a lot of finger notation to guide the performer. I might consider doing an arrangement of the Adventure Rebirth version, it has more instruments and I think it could make a very different arrangement, especially with the LH having more chords rather than repeated notes.

Made another youtube video, this one being my 30th arrangement video! It's the title screen theme from Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories.

Finished another Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge arrangement! The "second" castle song "Praying Hands (Cloud Castle)". This one was pretty easy, I did a nice ossia line since the LH 16ths can be tricky. So y, I'll continue on and eventually do all four castle themes, and maybe even more of the soundtrack.

Ok I finished a Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance arrangement, "Clock Tower Casualty (Duet)". This one maybe is my weirdest/coolest arrangement I've done. First of I'm not sure what tonality it goes in, the first section clearly is in G-minor. But the next is in maybe D-phrygian or something I think. And then the final seems like a big modulation or something but still in some key of D I think, or maybe leading to the D-major chord which is the dominant to G-minor, that'd make sense. Also this song is very dissonant too, and the flute ostinato seems so free, almost as if it played a different song than the lower melody. Finally we got the time signature. The song mostly goes in 10/16 (or some sort of 10th meter) apart from the beginning and the end.
All in all I got to say that this is one of the coolest songs I've arranged, being so different from most songs. Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance seem to have such a interesting soundtrack, most songs being very "dissonant" more or the less to create an unsettling atmosphere. Next up I'll first make a solo version and after that arrange the probably most admired song from the game: Sky Chapel (Chapel of Dissonance).

[Duet]

And here's a solo version of the song! It was a bit tricky putting together all voices into a solo transcription, although some intervals became quite big, I think overall I did a good job.

Finished an arrangement! This one is Sky Chapel from Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. This is probably the most popular and admired song from the game. I'm thinking of making a duet of as well, and on 2 pianos which I think it suits this song very well.

Made a short arrangement, Road to Enemy from Belmont's Revenge. Even though it's a short song, it's quite memorable and popular as well.

Your Sky Chapel arrangement is so beautiful. I think it'd be fine to take out the extra Piano markings next to your staves in the Duet if you wanted.

I really like how you incorporated the percussion effects into Road to Enemy, too!

...Really though. Don't let them take it away from you. That desire for something more, for adventure... for destiny. Don't let them turn it against you, either.

Tobbeh99

Thanks Oronoco!

The pno. markings should be there in a 2 piano duet actually, look at some 2 piano duets on site. And 4-hands duets should have I and II as abbreviations. We haven't got this down on the formatting guidelines, but hopefully it'll get updated soon.

Seriously, though, it sounds pretty good; I might have to listen to some of the other music from the game because it's been so long since I've played it.

Wow thanks! I think I got a good sound on this as well. I used fff's in finale + a good reverb plugin, which made it sound pretty good I think. I wonder, is the volume too low, or is it fine?
