Like Mealstrom's trip.
This will never die.
May it live on forever.

In the words of Andy Samberg's character on Brooklyn Nine Nine, "I hate Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims were murderers and turkey tastes like napkins."

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

turkey tastes fine
it's not as good as beef or ham, but it's fine, I think it's better than chicken

What books would you recommend reading?

E. Gadd Industries

I enjoyed the Warriors series, but I read that back in middle school, so it may not be as good for the general age group on here.

Here are a few of my favorite books (I would include Harry Potter, but I feel like that's a given):

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There

The Catcher in the Rye

The Dinner

Howl's Moving Castle -- probably my favorite book if you asked me to name one. Doesn't have much in common with the Ghibli adaptation.
Castle in the Air -- has nothing to do with the other Ghibli film called Castle in the Sky.
House of Many Ways

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Mary Poppins (all four of the books--not to be mistaken with the significantly more cheerful Disney interpretation)

Finishing the Hat
Look, I Made a Hat

Secrets of Dripping Fang (this is definitely a middle school age series, but the writing is really funny and clever and I love it a lot)

(Items grouped together are in a series and should be read in the order I have them in)

Maelstrom

The Wizard of Earthsea Trilogy

Dune

And I just got into Brandon Sanderson and oh gosh his books are so good. The Mistborn Trilogy is a great place to start. Some of the finest writing I've ever read.

The following H. P. Lovecraft short stories (Best are bolded)
Spoiler
The Call of Cthulhu
At the Mountains of Madness
The Thing on the Doorstep
A Color out of Space
A Shadow out of Time
A Shadow over Innsmouth
The Dunwich Horror

I haven't read that many English books (I haven't read many Dutch books too anyway), but I liked all 4 of them:

-A Boy's Own Story
-The Catcher in the Rye
-To Kill a Mockingbird
-One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

I'm currently reading Lord of the Flies.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is soul-wrenching and tragic but I thought it was pretty good.

What books would you recommend reading?
The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett without a doubt. Absolutely hilarious, yet also very profound.
