Mario
Matter of opinion

Anyhoo, the only con, to my knowledge of Wii U, is the bad battery life. But it's still worth it.

Oh man.....tell me about it. I have to keep mine plugged in 90% of the time.
The battery life was pretty good for the first half of a year, but then it got bad. You can always buy a new battery.

Wait, so you weren't having a difficulty deciding on which one to buy?

If you are planning on buying the Wii U, I think you should wait. If not for the new console, then at least for the future deals/price drops. If the new Zelda game comes out for the NX as well, and the NX is backwards compatible, then you should get the NX (as long as the system itself is reasonable). As for storage, you can buy a flash drive with the money you save for buying a Wii U or NX if it turns out to be cheaper (granted that might be annoying to deal with)

If you believe the Xbox One has more games to offer (or just more time spent overall), then you should get it. You just have to factor in enjoyment, time spent, and cost. I mean if you are only going to put 300 hours in the Wii U, but 1000 in the Xbox One, then the Xbox One is worth it even though it costs more

Buy a Wii U because whenever someone wants to play, you say: Wii can play together or U can play alone.

Try to do everything; you're bound to succeed with at least one.

Those are both excellent choices.....I don't think I can pick one over the other.
