So idk what my wifi connectability situation will be next semester but here's hoping there's a Starbucks equivalent I can use in Prague, otherwise the 3DS tournament might be a little anticlimactic lol

So when this current tournament is over, would anyone be interested in a doubles tournament? It'd probably be single elimination, since we'd be halving the pool of players at minimum, but I think it could be a neat experience.

Sounds fun, but given how much of a logistical nightmare this one turned out to be, I'm not so sure planning to get 4 people together at once will be any better.

Also, would the teams be randomly assigned or could people make their own?

I wouldn't say one match is a logistical nightmare lol, but having 4 people would pose a problem in that regard. On top of that, the possibility for extreme lag increases when we double the amount of players, so the room host would have to have a ridiculously fast connection.

As far as teams go, I'm not sure what we want as a group. If we let people choose, it's likely that the two best people will immediately join up and face roll everyone, but if we do it randomly, people will be upset because they're paired with someone who they didn't want. We'll see how it goes. I won't even consider it until after this tourney is over though.
