Nope, that would be thunder break for dramatic effect. Although the 3DS speakers can in no way do it any justice.

Yveltal doesn't even have feet. I think if anything it's supposed to be the sound of Team Flare's machine, though it might just be a random sound effect Jun'ichi Masuda wanted in the track.

I think it does? Here's an example of a pose where you can clearly see its feet on the ground (although it's not official artwork, I assume they would work the same way based on their position on Yveltal's body).
