HOWEVER, K Rool is still very high, if not on top, of the Ballot. If he wins, he HAS to be included because of fan demand. Not that there's not a Link outfit and Link as a character or anything. I'll have hope until Sakurai directly states "No K Rool" no matter what.

Nah they specifically said it's for characters. I wouldn't be surprised if they made costumes of some of the ones that were popular, but didn't win or weren't practical. (Which is what I'm assuming happened with our gator friend)

Well, it's not like King K. Rool can't see some sort of life in Smash, but overall it seems as if Nintendo just forgot he existed for the past few years. I'm looking at you, DKCR. I think the DLC poll will result with a third party character anyway, Banjo seemed to be topping most exit polls as well as restoring older fighters.
