Oh my. I just got annihilated by an Level 9 Ike 20 times in a row.
He just dodged all of my attacks and I couldn't dodge his attacks, he countered and my counter never worked, and he did like 50 damage in two hits. How can I get better at this game? What should I practice?

And has Ike gotten a lot better, or is it just me?

Just remember, CPUs can perfect shield and flawlessly airdoge, which most humans can't.
Anyway, spacing. He's slow. Take advantage of that. He hits hard, but not necessarily fast. Take advantage of that. Hit him with ranged attacks and only counter when it's something like a smash attack he HAS to commit to and comes out slowly. You can easily outrun him with just about anybody. And use grabs and airs.

edit: those two attacks were definitely smashes. Don't be afraid to use them if he is not in a position to counter.

Yeah but earlier there was a video of Rayman on the character select screen that got taken down. I'm not sure what that means.

I think we know what it means. At least I know why we got a Rayman trophy now.

Yeah, I seem to remember there being a direct or some such thing where they made a big deal about the Rayman trophy and everyone wondered about Rayman being a playable character. It doesn't seem too far out of the realm of possibility, but like Mael said with Ubisoft's shaky relationship with Nintendo, it does seem like a stretch.
