Hm, you're right!

You have to consider, though, that they wouldn't just copypasta the song from its original game into the new smash game. With ALL THE DATA that's already being put into this game, surely in comparison a simple bass line that (while it does make the song sound very epic in the original game) is almost unnoticeable unless you're really listening for it.

I'm not worried. I trust Sakurai.

Actually the 3DS speakers had a lot of trouble handling the strong bass line in Uprising. That's most likely the reason they reduced the bass.

Yeah, but it sounded great if you plugged in headphones... 
And that's the same reason why Link Between words doesn't have a live soundtrack.
(But that didn't stop Bravely Default.)
And Kid Icarus really benefited from that orchestration.
I just like it when I can plug in headphones and it sounds better than the 3ds speakers.

Yea the 3DS speakers are awful, regularly crackling with just game OST, but sometimes I like to just be free of headphones D;
