I'm not really keen on Bowser Jr., but having the Koopalings as alt costumes seems really cool.

If the leak is true, this seems like a mighty fine roster.

That would be INCREDIBLE if Bowser Jr.'s alts were the Koopalings. Although I'd still like Bowser Jr. the best, I know that I've grown to love the Koopalings since Mario Kart 8. My brother would love to best up characters as Ludwig.

Still it seems like a weird thing, I don't really see it happening.

Well, I guess if the rumors are confirmed, it's for good measure.

But it's a fighting game, a game in which most, if not all, discussions about it are directly related to the character roster.

Also, there's no point in spoiler tagging a "What if" conversation about an unreleased game. If it get announced or confirmed by release, great; if not, it makes for nice fantasy.

Fair enough. I guess some people want to discover the true roster for themselves, even if most of it is revealed.

The 'leaks' are pretty sketch city though, with claims that there's no Snake or Ice Climbers.  I find that highly doubtful, so I would guess that they're either very nice fakes or just incomplete.
