There's no real way to enforce that without locking the accounts during the votes. The only way to do that is to change the passwords so people can't access the accounts, and since the current game is still in session TWC can't do that.

Or we could watch the "Number of votes cast" for each statistic, and if it's 1 or more, we know that someone cheated.

And don't vote in polls elsewhere around the forums either, obviously.

I would think that the account picture might make it easy to tell your accounts apart... unless you're just in a rush. Or your pictures are similar...

It's only going to be a problem for polls that are up while anonymous games are taking place. And I don't suspect they'll be super frequent (after the initial burst of them anyway, I suspect the novelty has already worn off on a lot of players).

But hopefully anybody who cheats in one direction will be counteracted by another player cheating in the other!

If anybody has multiple accounts, they can easily use them to stack the ballot. On another forum, we do hosting polls by having everybody PM their choices to the TWC to prevent stuff like that from happening.

But every time we bring up alternate methods of picking hosts, nobody seems to care! (Of course, maybe the alternate accounts are fixing that poll as well.)
