IMO, Shiny Honedge has a weird color scheme, but Shiny Aegislash is brilliant. @_@

I really have to say I'm disappointed overall in Gen VI. Looking at the Pokedex as a whole, none of my favorites are from X and Y. I'm a really hardcore Pokemaniac so it's not like I'm just bashing the new gen, but...damn. Black 2 and White 2 were a lot better than X and Y imo. The whole time I just kept wanting to play older Pokemon games :/

Eh, I personally loved a lot of pokemon from XY. While gen 5 were overall better in terms of story, I did enjoy XY.

This can help, although it's still sort of "playing the egg lottery."

You can play the fishing lottery by chain fishing. I got a shiny Relicanth pretty quickly that way.
