Well...Tauros is the male counterpart to Miltank (not official, but both bovines and both learn moves at the same levels with Tauros getting one extra move). It's just like Rufflet and Mandibuzz. That's why I don't think Tauros alone will get an evolution without also getting a replacement or Miltank also getting an evolution. Scyther used to be the counterpart to Pinsir, but gained an evolution and brought Heracross in instead.

After the original gen games, Game Freak doesn't care about counterparts. Like how Jynx didn't get an evolution. Or Golduck (Slowbro's counterpart). (That would have been cool :/ )

A lot of people were talking about how awesome it'd be if Fennekin evolved into something resemebling Amaterasu. That I'd love to see.

Yes, they really need to. From the trailer, the character doesn't look that great with the oily hair and lubricated(?) body look.

So the Y legendary (I'm guessing Dark/Flying) is taller, but the X legendary weighs more (I'm guessing Grass/Psychic).

You know what's going to annoy me more than anything else about this game? Sites like Serebii will no longer have pixel art for all the pokemon. Either all of Gen VI will have 3D sprites, or they will update all the other sprites that were put into the new 3D version. Either way, not all pokemon will have the same type of sprite.
