It seems like an ass pull and unnecessary, and the designs look lazy. They just slapped some hair on Ampharos and called it a "megaevolution"... which even sounds dumb.

Any idea of previous Pokemon games that I was concerned about has turned out very good. I trust Game Freak, so I'll give the Mega Evolutions a chance. Different =/= bad.

I love it how Game Freak apparently thinks that Blaziken isn't powerful enough. Seriously, it's already freaking OP. How could they possibly make it any better.

On the contrary, Absol and Mawile getting a power up is going to hopefully raise people's opinions of them, which is great because they're both pretty cool Pokemon.

They are going to shake up the metagame, that's for sure. I think it's interesting, Pokémon getting different abilities and stuff.
