Yeah tbh i kinda regret getting it early and then leaving it in my house just torturing me. You guys can just play it when you get it. It's taken all my self control to not play the shit out of this game.

So I counted up all the pokemon in each of the three pokedexes (They're ALL different pokemon, btw) and the game has 454 pokemon in the (combined) pokedex(es).

Oh mah god u guys.

Just played X for like an hour. I'm crying this game is so bad it's like the Sonic '06 of Pokemon FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.

First Observations

•Starters get their STAB moves at level 5
•you earn experience when you catch Pokemon
•The NPC companions interact with you in real time
•YOU START WITH THE RUNNING SHOES
•you also get an alternate outfit right from the start so you have a little bit of choice there, too

UUUUUGH.
So, I live in new york city. So I automatically jumped at the opportunity to go to the pokemon x and y release party they were having at nintendo world. And my friend who's going to college in massachusetts wanted to go tOo, and he hit me up about going to that to start off our fall break, and i was like fuck yeah! And so we both didn't have a 3DS or anything, so we were gonna go get our 2DSes and pokemon X and Y all in one fel swoop, as well as go to the party. However, he didn't realize how fucking packed it would be and ended up getting to the city about 2 hours after the event started, so it didn't work out, and we didn't go. I ended up going out with some friends and doing other fun...er...college things, so it ended up being not too bad of a night, but still, i have NO POKEMON TO SHOW FOR IT.
...either way I'm going tomorrow and getting the game, PLUS:
