It is now Night 1. Night 1 ends Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 11PM EST/10PM CST/9PM MST/8PM PST/7PM AST

Moving on as normal.. phase ends at the regular time on the OP.

Nothing has changed. After I asked everyone if they wanted a phase reduction, someone said they did not, so I kept it how it was (ending the 29th).

Whoops, read that wrong, I assumed the phase ended Friday.

Holy sh*t, why the hell is this phase so long? There is no reason to drag this out another day. I'd understand if it was because of a game mechanic, but it seems people just want extra time to get settled before the game gets going, which is no reason to drag out the first night phase.

TWGs in the past: omg 48 hour night 1s, yaaay.  i dont mind these at all in the slightest.
TWGs with Bird playing: omg the best player here doesnt want 48 hour night 1s, lets all agree with him to sound smart and voice our concern over how lengthy it is even though we never had any gripes with it in the past 532098 twigs

And instead of grumbling over time, make use of it.  Or at least voice your concerns for it in the Questions and Discussion Thread.  Don't be so dictating of spitllama simply because he's hosting conventionally, correctly, and how TWGs always have been played here.
