Hi all! My name is Connor or NostalgiaTunez on the interwebz.  Anyway, ever since I saw my dad playing classic and timeless rpgs like Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Suikoden, etc. I have always thoroughly enjoyed video game music. Along with that, I have transcribed several pieces from different games (hopefully will figure out how to upload here somehow) and have decided to go into music for a career. I'll be studying vocal performance at Augustana College this fall so if you're around, give me a holler.

I also juust (literally just the other day) started up a YouTube channel (NostalgiaTunez) where I will be uploading videos of myself playing different songs (mostly if not all video game) each week. My first upload is a humble and simple one but is an excellent piece nonetheless. I played "Broken Promise" (Music Box Version) from the video game Dark Cloud. Oooooo Dark Cloud! Dark Cloud 2 is much better imo(it's my favorite game evur) but the first one is awesome as well.

Yeah I know what you mean. It had a lot more depth in terms of story and other stuff to do in game. The first was one of the best early early PS2 games. But both amazing OST's Still need to get my hands on those... Gotta get on the eBay ^^

You should try that with max. 2 guitars next time. Anyhow, it sounded great but I don't think you'd need 4 guitars for that.

Pretty simple little tune to figure out. Could do harmonics and stuff with it too if you want, but I just wanted to get this up really badly since it's been awhile. More consistent uploads start now though since I'm settled into dorm life at college finally.
