Hehe, I love Synthesia. Unfortunately, the only way I can think of recording the playback in a video format is using a third-party video capture device like Camstudio.

you'll have to use a video editor like windows movie maker. you'll have to also convert the midi into an audio file like .wav or .mp3.

otherwise, you should be able to record sound from your computer as long as your sound card supports it.
