An update! Someone try out "The Gears go Arwy" because I don't think it looks comprehensible, or playable for that matter.

Neat piece. Why'd you choose 8/16? I feel 2/4 all the way.

The 8/16 rhythm in the left hand is dominant while everything else is not. That's why gave that time signature because that is what is on the sheet. The 2/4 you were feeling was kept by the drums in the original, which I can not replicate on the piano, not for lack of trying.

I've never heard the original. The notated rhythm in the left hand is common in all duple meter and would just be easier to read in 2/4. 8/16 doesn't divide the beat any differently than 2/4.
