To me he just seemed like a carbon copy of Don Paolo.... I like him a lot, he's distinguished and cool, but he's no Don Paolo.

New poll! I think I have to vote for Professor Layton's Theme, it's just classic. Although the intro to Last Specter's Theme is totally badass. And the Unwound Future is brilliant. And that part where the accordion kicks in during the jazzy part of Elysian Box gets me every time.

^^^this. I honestly can't decide, but I did notice that although the beginnings of each song are different, they all seem to morph into the same style jazzy accordion. Not that it doesn't sound AMAZING, but I think it kind of seems like it's all one song. That's why I'm choosing professor laytons theme...it doesn't do that.

Yeah if you'll notice, the beginning of Elysian Box uses the same chord progression from the beginning of Layton's theme. In addition, the overall style of them are quite similar.

I love how the specter's flute melody was incorporated into the main theme of Last Specter.
