Just wondering, are they supposed to be calling the box the "Elysian Box"? I heard it was different in different countries and Im gonna be really pissed off if this isnt the american version

That's the actual name. It's the same in all countries, just the name of the game is different. In Japan the name is "Devil's Box" and in Europe it's "Pandora's Box".

EUROPE is Pandora's Box, as is Australia. Diabolical Box is America only.

Yeah the layton games are notorious for really complicated, very improbable plots. I really like that though. Diabolical Box made me cry the last time I played it. Also, replay the ending and listen to the credits music.

Layton games are just good at confusing you to no end with the plot twists at the end. Just wait until Unwound Future, hoo boy...

I felt like Last Specter and Miracle Mask were more formulaic in their plot twists. Particularly Miracle Mask. But everything about MM was so beautiful, didn't you think?
