Cross-staff beaming in Finale

I was considering upgrading from Finale Notepad such I could employ cross-staff beaming in my arrangements, but I was wondering which of the Finale products is capable of this. My internet searching proved unfruitful, so I must ask the Ninsheetmusic community, which Finale product can produce cross-staff beaming? I imagine full Finale can, but I would like to see if any of the cheaper products are capable of this.

using only the online user manuals as my guide, it would appear to me that only the full finale can do cross staffs. I searched for "cross staff", "note mover", "note mover tool", and "TG Tools" and neither songwriter nor printmusic came up with anything related to cross-staffs.

I could be wrong though as I used a secondary source.

I figured this would be the case. Oh well, it's the same for Sibelius - only the top product has this feature. Maybe I can see if I qualify for a student discount

perhaps you could get printmusic and then have someone else put cross staffs? it'll only work with printmusic because songwriter's in 2010.

I like that idea. I know fingerz just got Finale 2011 from a generous benefactor, so I could ask him for special beaming if I need it. Good thinking

I got Finale 2011 for Mac and PC from a VERY generous benefactor... heh heh.

(though not the same way how I got Photoshop if you get my drift)

I wonder if this mysterious benefactor is still donating Finale heheheh....probably not. I'll just have to ask you for help if I ever need special beaming then, Dr. P

just look around the internet... there are lots of "benefactors" out there.

(I seriously got mine through my school's music department... they have like a 500 person license, so I was lucky to get one)
