I mean, to be fair, that's the only point of HD remakes, especially for games that are ten or fifteen years old. Like they're marketing it to people who weren't around (or old enough) when it came out the first time and people who liked the original so much they'd pay money to have an upgraded version. It doesn't sound like the CD alone is worth the money for you.
