What fun! I initially thought that doing this song would be too simple since it's structurally identical to the PMD Rescue Team "Personality Test", but boy was I wrong. I think it's my favorite version of this theme yet. Even made an ending too, woo!

About the japanese text thing - if it only happens when you try to make a pdf, I doubt it is Finales fault.
The thing about pdfs created directly from Finale is that they're not pictures of the text, they are the text displayed like it should be. So if the program doesn't access have the text-font necessary, what happens to you will happen.
For my text font on a big band arrangement I used some crazy handwritten-like font, but when I open the pdf on my mac it just turns into some arial-looking font. That's kinda the same as what happens to you, right?
And with my computer at school for example - if I try to open pdfs created directly from notation programs that use the "maestro"- or the "jazz"-font, sixteenths and sixteenth rests will be replaced with quarters and quarter rests, which is just purely caused by some really inconvenient glitch.
I don't know if this glitchy stuff is the case with you though. And I don't know how to deal with it, but I think I remember Don used some japanese titles back in the day, and if I remember correctly he had some problems with it I think, that I think he managed to deal with in the end. So maybe he knows.

Ah, so good to finish this piece. I initially wasn't very fond of it, but it grew on me in the process of arranging. I imagine there being something of a dialogue between you and your Partner that is conveyed in this song, which I tried to communicate with somewhat more unorthodox expression markings. Patting myself on the back for composing another original ending again (composition is not exactly my forte)

Pikachus in kilts. Of the four pre-release tracks that I heard in 2012, this one was by far my favorite. The celtic/gaelic vibes just set me right at home with this game, and the many variations of the simple Rescue Team motif that constitute this song are each unique in their own way. Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure I even could have arranged this back then either. What a joy to do it now though.

Very well done! Your harmonies sound much closer to the original than mine do.

But there are many ledger lines. Maybe you should use some clef changes in the left hand and 8va brackets in the right hand.

I took your advice to heart Dusk! Much cleaner with treble clef in left hand for the harp ostinato. I spent a couple hours after classes for the last 5 days to explore more fingerings too. I think this is most I've ever wrote in for my sheets, haha.
