Claiming Songs?

Okay I don't know if we need it, but I realized that quite often a song I would like to arrange is done first by someone else...I was wondering whether we could have a claiming songs topic to avoid confusion?

For example, if I were to claim something, it would be Route 6 from BW since I'm learning it by ear and it's going great.

I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to have all these in progress sheets in one post. it's a bit impractical when people can remove from the list (like if I decided to not work on a song).

idea: perhaps we could use that wikia that was made. we'd have a page for in-progress. make that page protected so the average herpdaderp troll can't modify it, and then make the arrangers admins so that they can update their section. we'd separate them by headings so they can be found easily with that box at the top. since it's all in one page, people can easily do a quick page search for a sheet. also, there'll be histories of the pages, so if someone DID vandalize, we could easily revert the edit to a non-trolled version.

I didn't know that, but I'm arranging it anyway and entering it for submission. Sorry but usually your arrangements are fairly ridiculous in difficulty, which is why I usually play by ear first to make sure it's playable.

Also, by ridiculous in difficulty, I don't mean unplayable, but the song usually is not worth the time taken to learn it.
