You must not use a translator. There comes out only gibberish.
English reading is not my problem, I understand everything (7 years of Englisch lessons at school). I have only problems with the writing (grammar and special words which one needs only for music).

Try to uninstall finale and install finale anew. Maybe it helps.

..I didn't use a translator. I actually missed some of the tremas that needed to be posted on some of the U's. man its been a while i've spoken in German... I think I should retake the course next year.

Yes, you should retake the course. To learn English as a German is easier than to learn German as an American. In German grammar are lots of exceptions. For what do you need German in America? I think English is the more important language.
