I need the Mus for the Ending from Super Mario 64. The problem is, I'm using finale 2008, so I can't read ANY thing from the main site. (Incompatibility, or whatever) I'm hoping to make a replacement, and I'm not looking forward to completely copying from the PDF from scratch. Can anyone help me?

P.S.

I've got more questions in my other post and really urgently need help.

open the MIDI file in finale and use the PDF file as a reference if necessary

Ok. Thanks.
Quick question, to open mus files from the site, do you need a certain "year or newer", or just a more advanced version?

You need to have the edition the file was made in or newer. ie with Notepad '08 you can open files made in Finale '08 and earlier.

Get Finale Reader 2011... you should be able to read any mus files out there.

Oh. Ok. So the files aren't all the same year? (e.g. some 2010, 2009, 2007, and 2011)
Or are they all updated every year?
Last question, can finale 2011 read 2011 and older, or just 2011?

The sheets on the site stay the version they were made in until they are replaced. For example, I think there are several really old sheets which were made in Finale 2004 still on the site. xD

Whatever version or type the Finale product is, it can read its edition and older. Eg Any type of 2007-version Finale can read files made by a 2007 version, 2006, 2005... etc. So Finale Reader 2011 should read any files made in a 2011 version or earlier. (2011, 2010, 2009, 2008...right down to 2004 and earlier. :P ).
