I can play that, it's my favorite Kingdom Hearts piano arrangement. And not very difficult. Just really pretty.

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

I'm planning to have my orchestra teacher have us play a song with a solo violin part that I could play (when I'm good enough, maybe in two or three years/junior or senior). I've been learning the following songs so I could have multiple options as to what we should play:
  • Tchaikovsky's "Violin Concerto in D Major", First Movement
  • "Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso" by Saint-Saëns
  • "Zigeunerweisen", by Sarasate
  • "Chaconne in G Minor", by Vitali
  • everything from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons"
  • Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto in E Minor", First Movement
All of the aforementioned songs are incredibly difficult.

EDIT: But for now, we're just learning these songs, all of which are incredibly easy:
  • "Élégie" from "Serenade for String Orchestra", by Tchaikovsky
  • Schubert's "Symphony No. 8 in B Minor", First Movement
  • "Overture to Egmont", by Beethoven
  • "Air" from "Orchestral Suite No. 3", by Bach
  • "An American in Paris", by Gershwin
  • "Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso" (this time the violin solo is replaced with a marimba, unless I can learn the solo right now)
Quite a lot of songs.

Try to do everything; you're bound to succeed with at least one.

My orchestra teacher said I could play the solo to Introduction and Rondo when we practice the song in class, and if I'm good enough, at the concert, too.

Focus has now shifted to learning Introduction and Rondo.

I decided to challenge myself and try to learn the credits theme of Pokemon GSC. First page wasn't too difficult but the shit gets real in the second page and then there's modulation coming up too.

It took me a grand total of 5 minutes.

After putting it off for so long, I'm finally going to sit down and learn Gershwin's solo transcription for Rhapsody in Blue and I'm going to try and learn the piano part from his Concerto in F.
