The cherries here started blooming about two or so weeks ago too. It's not as early as five years ago, when there was this one day where it was a nice, wintery 15 degrees C in the middle of January. I think the cherry blossoms started blooming way before the Olympics started that year.

I joined a new community orchestra today! If all goes well, in April we'll perform Carmen, Seasons of Piazzola, and Estancia!

Wow, that must be a pretty good community orchestra! The ones I've been in have struggled enough with Brahms with Sibelius.

Well, I found out that if I take 2 classes this summer, go to school full-time for fall 2015 and spring 2016, I will be able to graduate with a Bachelor's degree next April!
It's so expensive though... $1500 tuition for just 2 classes
