Thanks. For a moment there I was worried, though. I almost needed to blow you.

QuoteNo it's not. Serebii's calculator is known for being a crappy calculator i.e it usually gives wrong results. If you want a good calculator, google metalkid's calculator.

I've never had discrepancies between the metalkid calc and serebii's, especially since they updated it. I have compared both. As long as information is entered correctly, results are as well.

Yeah, I noticed that and was like 'woah no wonder his arrangements are like crazy and yet playable'.

Can someone explain the new experience system versus the old one?
I've read that the level comparison applies rather than just power, but hasn't it always been that way?
It's dangerous to go alone, take me with you! [JUB has joined the party.]

Thanks! I usually regret arranging something once I start 'cause I actually figure out how difficult it is... :P

I don't know the exact mechanics of it but the basic idea is that if the level of the foe is lower than the level of your pokemon, you'll get less experience than if you were to defeat one that is of a higher level than yours

(experience gained in this example is not exact and is only used as a general idea)

your pokemon's level is 20

if it defeats a pokemon that is level 10, it would gain 250
if it defeats a pokemon that is level 30, it would gain 2,000
