Post favorites here.

I am pretty much a fan of all books, with one and only one exception: Eragon. That was probably the dullest book I've ever read in my life.

Anyway, I just finished rereading The Westing Game--an excellent book if you haven't read it yet.

Well Eragon... You hurt me, Slow!

I hated the first chapter but the rest was amazing, and I was 11.

I don't read books too much anymore but I used to read A LOT. My favourite's are the classic fantasy stories like Harry Potter, LotR, Artemis Fowl, Tigana etc. But my all-time favourite is The Three Musketeers from Alexandre Dumas and all its sequels as well. I wish someone would make a decent movie or tv-series out of them. All musketeer-based movies out there suck. I have seen only one that was actually good but the story was pretty much improvised and that sort of thing always bothers me.

The Count of Monte-Cristo is awesome too.
In Finnish hunting culture it is common for hunters to shoot everything that moves, sometimes even themselves.

Well, off the top of my head, my favorite sci-fi book hands down is Ender's Game.

Hmmmm... loved LoTR.

I just finished reading Tuesdays With Morrie for school. An excellent book, one of the best I've read this year.

Hobbit was fantastic. Got halfway through LotR. Macbeth was wonderful. I loved The Princess Bride, and The Hound of the BAskervilles was amazing. :D

Frank L. Baum (The Wizard of Oz) is a terrible writer. Worse than Stephanie Meyer.

Almost as bad as Tolkien. xD Seriously.

The Lord of the Rings was an awesome book(s), but not very well written. The Hobbit was just...meh, not as good as lotr.

Anyway, my favorite book is Howl's Moving Castle. I see that you put that along with its two sequels on your list... which one was your favorite? This is my opinion: Castle in the Air < House of Many Ways < Howl's Moving Castle

Tolkien's writing abilities may have not been all that amzing, but his idea's were more than enough to compensate.

I've only read the ones I mentioned. :P

I honestly can't wait to read them though.

I preferred the Hobbit. It was paced so much-...at all. :P

He pretty much invented the fantasy genre as we know it today.

MORE LIKE HOMEO!(you see, its clever because its playing off of the prefix homo- which usually refers to homosexuals)
