I don't see why you omitted the 2nd-layer countermelody played by the horns in measure 11-14. In fact, there are quite alot of places I where I think you could incorporate a few more parts from the original, just as a suggestion.

Hmm that's a good idea. I might keep this one as an "intermediate" version and make an "advanced" version with more parts from the song.

This was super fun to make, and only took 45 minutes or so (the piano part was really repetitive). Even if you aren't gonna play it, take a look and compare it to the original!

XD well technically one only plays pizzicato string the whole time...but if you like violins you should look at my "Misthallery's Many Canals" OR "The Dark Forest" arrangements they're much prettier...though not as jazzy.

I want to learn the violin really bad, haha.

Yeah that one wasn't one of my better arrangements but I was happy because it's one that's easy enough to learn and show to my Pokemon loving friends if the opportunity arises.

So I happened upon the ENTIRE orchestra scores for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II. And so because I'm kind of a nerd, I entered the whole score for the piece "A New Beginning" into a Finale document. If you're interested in what it would look or sound like, here ya go.
