Sorry for the lack of activity, a lot of shit happened and I couldn't go online much. I'm still waiting for Dude 'cause we haven't battled yet And yeah, I could make a poll with that. Need to finish some homework first though.

your team had 3 weaknesses to psychic, ghost, and dark. I'd imagine psychic moves will be used by special attackers as Dark and Steel types(other than the magne's) are not present in Kanto.

Yeah, but you still have moves like Bite or Crunch as Dark-types, and there's Magnemite and Magneton with their Steel moves.

We're not using Gen I mechanics--just Gen I Pokemon.

I forgot that magnemite and it's evolution became steel types.

also here's another idea I got from the platinum board:

all pokemon must have the same first letter in their name.

Good idea in theory, but are there six of some of the less-common letters? (i.e., x)

I, J, O, Q, X, Y, Z are the ones that are very very limited. I suppose you could choose from a list of each of those.

I don't know about you, but I think the guy who picks "S" would win, due to having, among others, Scizor, Salamence, Starmie, Snorlax, Shaymin, Swampert and Skarmory at his disposal. No other letters are represented by that many OU Pokémon.

Hmm. Should, since if someone picks G/M/S/etc they'd have like 3 ubers while others wouldn't.
