Why do people always ask others what to use on their teams? Why not just catch the 'mons you think look cool and use them? Someone may think that a 'mon is awsm, then you catch it and you think it sucks and you basically wasted your time.

Thanks. For a moment there I was worried, though. I almost needed to blow you.

Shadoninja

on an unrelated note: I now have a scraggy with dragon dance and drain punch *evil face*

Shadoninja

the defense increase is nice but I prefer speed.

Makes sense because it's a really slow 'mon. I personally use it in TR teams so that's why BU > DDance imho.

Cobraroll

Moxie Sandile. Great for longer battles later in the game (good luck stopping its sweep unless you are faster than it!).

Timburr is cool too, but its learnset is somewhat... well, you have to breed it to get the coolest moves, and if you want Mach Punch (you
do), you have to beat the Elite Four and transfer Pokémon... which makes it a little dull in-game. Guess Scraggy is better to use in the story.

Drilbur evolves and becomes awesome. It can also be caught early on.

Litwick is almost mandatory... which makes it a little boring to use. If you've played White already, you've probably used it for all it's worth and might want to try something new instead. It will also be a while before you meet it.
Emergence - a story exclusive to NSM

Yes, I'm still around from time to time. For quicker response, you can reach me by PM, or drop by Smogon to say hi. I go by "Codraroll" there, because of a bet.

Winter

Nope, I never used Litwick (I have White)

I try to use pokemon that are less often used.

Elite Four was a bitch.

Swoobat any good? I think it would be good if it learnt good Flying/Psychic moves.

Swoobat is very good as a matter of fact. With Air Slash and Psychic at your disposal you should be pretty helped by it. Return also works rather well because of the fact that it requires friendship to evolve from Woobat. Just don't mess it up by teaching it Fly.

My brother and I trained up four Pokemon each to Lv50 and then battled each other twice. 'Twas fun, especially because I beat him both times.

Here's my team: I realize it's not that great, but realize we each had to put ours together in roughly an hour and a half, maybe less. Those kinds of on-the-spot challenges are fun.

1. Cofagrigus
Hardy nature
Capable of taking hits
Mummy
Energy Ball, Curse, Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp

2.Reuniclus
Modest nature
Often dozes off
Magic Guard
Psychic, Reflect, Recover, Endeavor (this was not intended to be an offensive Reuniclus)

3.Cinccino
Hardy nature
Hates to lose
Technician
Bullet Seed, Tail Slap, Rock Blast, Wake-Up Slap

4. Honchkrow
Docile nature
Likes to fight (don't ask how it can be both docile and fond of fighting)
Super Luck
Scope Lens
Aerial Ace, Foul Play, Facade, Night Slash

I realize this team has so much potential to be better, especially with Honchkrow and Reuniclus (I don't think Cinccino could get much better). Any suggested movesets for the other three? (Note that the only move I'd be getting rid of with Cofagrigus would be Energy Ball, I couldn't think of anything better)
