Whenever I mix music, I can never make it sound good coming out of my laptop speakers. Even worse, I don't actually know if the mixing is alright or not, because I'm not sure if my speakers are crap or not (I like to think they are though).

Then the obvious problem is your computer speakers. The mixing is probably fine. Share some if you would like some input.

Not necessarily, because there's always the balance of wet and dry sounds, plus my reverberator might not be good enough.

I love math, but all my friends don't, so I do have some experience with people who feel like that. You just have to charge through it. I have a friend who is as good at math as I am (maybe even better), but he doesn't enjoy it. He's a whole year behind me mathwise because he didn't do any of his math homework in 8th grade. Basically, I'm trying to say tough through it because you need to do it. There's always summer vacation. (Or is it winter vacation in Australia? I'm not sure. I know that in the mid-southern parts of South America winter is warm weather like North America's summer. Is it the same in Australia? Even if it is, I guess it could still be summer vacation during cold weather. Or is there year-round school?)

We have 2 week holidays in Autumn, Winter and Spring, as well as a 6 week holiday in Summer. It makes sense, because it's almost useless to attempt teaching students on 40 degree days.

Uhhh... do you mean that's too cold? Please tell me that's not what you meant. I hate when people think 40-60 degrees is cold. That's typical spring weather where I live. A nice day. The best days are the days in the 70s, though.

*Slaps self in face* I forgot. I usually don't forget stuff like that. Although, if we had been talking about -40 degrees, it wouldn't have mattered. -40 degrees Celsius is the same as -40 degrees Fahrenheit. The metric system is much neater than whatever our system is called. I forget. That's how pointless it is.

That's what I thought. I knew that's what is was like in South America, so I assumed it was probably like that in general in the southern hemisphere.
