DVD burning???

My sister wants me to burn a DVD and I have no clue how^^. Is there a free program? Which is the best? PLZ help me! Thx in advance.

1) You need a drive that can burn DVDs.  If your drive says DVD R or DVD RW on it you're probably fine.
2) You need a blank DVD R or DVD RW.  A DVD RW drive can write to both a DVD R and DVD RW disc.
3) If you're running Windows 7, there's a burning program built in if you have an iso.  If not, there are tons of other programs.  Example: http://www.imgburn.com/

Now, what we really need to know is what you need burnt onto it.  If you're trying to make it a video DVD, you need a video editor program like Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, etc to burn to a DVD, so on and so forth.

So tell us what you need to burn.

I want to burn a downloaded video on a DVD-R. Is that possible?

Try downloading this: http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor.aspx
and opening the file in it.  Then burn it onto the DVD from there.
