Completely Lol'd when I saw this.

Going off Davey's post, x^3+64 looks pretty simple to me. Problems like that are so subjective.
This is a signature.

Our survival depends weirdly from a fact, whether or not we can calculate the approximation of the number a = ln 3 with accuracy of one percent.

1/e = <something here>"

Anyone know the answer to this:

2x + 1\3 + x - 2\4 - x - 3\6 + 5 - x\2

An immediate reply would be appreciated.

Since I haven't heard from her personally I don't wanna be like "YO HERE'S THE CHATROOM OK"

mikey

(2x+X-X-(X/2)) + ((1/3)-(2/4)-(3/6)+5)
try that instead

Maybe you guys aren't reading the question properly...the \ is a fraction, not division

Technically, a fraction is a division

But if all you want is simplification, just combine like terms. Use least common denominators for the fractions and the Xs. Combine like terms to get your answer.

Here's my working plus answer. It's probably wrong since I haven't done algebra in a while. But it scares me how much I liked doing it.

My answer
2x + 1\3 + x - 2\4 - x - 3\6 + 5 - x\2
Thus:
2x+1/3+x-2/4-x-3/6+5-x/2
+x and - x cancel each other.
-2/4 and -3/6 both equal to -1/2, hence:
2x+1/3-1/2-1/2+5-x/2
Which is basically:
2x+1/3-1+5-x/2
Common denominator:
12x/6+2/6-6/6+30/6-3x/6
or just:
(12x+2-6+30-3x)/6
Solve:
(9x+26)/6
Then divide:
1.5x+26/6
(26/6 is a nasty number so I'd leave it as a fraction)

Ok! See guys? That's the answer I was looking for!
                               _
But...26\6...why is 4.3 a nasty number?
