On the political spectrum I'm a liberal, moreso of a socialist, but just because a party calls themselves liberal doesn't mean that they're "liberal".
Same with the conservatives. Our right wing (the Conservatives) are more left wing than the U.S.' leftest left wing.

I doubt that... Democrats have been pushing things that Harper's government wouldn't dare on addressing. I am up there with President Bush and Margaret Thatcher. The Democrats here are more centrist then they are more left. Most conservative parties in Europe are like the Democratic party here... Then the Republicans are borderline extreme, and the Tea Partiers are just insane, but I can see where they're heading. I wonder if they'll breakaway from the Republicans and create a substantial third party!

I am a registered Republican for political stances if I happen to run for office in the future. Stephen Harper and President Obama are about the same on the political compass scale, Harper is a little more authoritarian and economically right...

For me, its always economic over social...

Latin convention was awesome.
School won tug-of-war tournament against several other schools, and we also won the girls' chariot racing, where the girls pulled a guy.
Riding that chariot was very cool.

At one point I thought of you all and wondered how long it would take for a Politics topic to be locked, if one were started.
