People are offended because Christmas is a christian holiday not celebrated by the natives. The commercial is not meant to make native Mexicans feel loved, but rather to make the white people feel like philanthropists (arguably a good tactic for selling coke, but I digress.) I agree that calling it racist is a bit of a stretch, but try to understand and respect other peoples feeling.

GMOs are so overblown
Seriously we've been selectively breeding crops for centuries if not milennia.
That said, there's a difference between selective breeding and mixing gene pools, but it still is far overblown.
