That's why your birthday balloons and other things are typically filled with Helium nowadays rather than Hydrogen. It's a lot safer.
Then is there a use for Hydrogen at all? I feel like its  only purpose is to bond with oxygen to make water, then again there is oxygen in the air and I'm sure zhydrogen is in the air also as it's emitted by the sun (I think) then shouldn't water be falling down?

That's good! And I'm also learning! This is a much better school then a regular school. I took all the notes and I think I got a bit smarter!

Hydrogen is one of the most important elements. Without it we wouldn't have hydrogen bonding along with all of our macromolecules. Also acids wouldn't exists.

I am as well, even though Blue always answers before me.  :P

And Maya, Oxygen in the air is in the form of O2(And O3 in the ozone layer), so it won't bond much. And air is mostly Nitrogen, there's not that much Hydrogen in there.

Oh yeah, Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. You're breathing it in right now. It powers the sun, it's useful in some chemistry, and I think it powers certain types of fuel cells.

Most elements in your body have Hydrogen as a part of them, it's just not gas. You know how Hydrogen is extremely flammable, but when it bonds with Oxygen to make water it puts out fires? It's the same principle. Hydrogen is part of sugar, for example. It's also in your DNA and in your food and in pretty much everything else.

Do how would a world without hydrogen look like? If it disappeared, would we immediately die?

Yes. Most molecules in your body can't exist without Hydrogen.

Including Water, I might add. Which makes up the majority of your body anyway.

No to mention that if Hydrogen never existed at all, we wouldn't really have any other atoms, as they all came from Hydrogen fusion.

Then is there a possible way to artificially create hydrogen? That might be useful and would an overabundance of hydrogen be harmful as well?
