Well, tradition is love in my family. Fiddle is an absolute joy to me...it's completely unique and your style is your own. No one will play it like I do and I can't play it like anyone else.

I don't know what bad violin habits I have...but for piano I wouldn't want to develop any because I could only imagine how hard they are to break.

Yeah, it is... I spent about a good year trying to fix all of my bad habits. It cost me a fortune, but it worked. I've never got lessons after that. plus that my teacher didn't like me i guess... Never knew why, she just didn't.

Hahaha, my only problem is I don't want to be the 20 year old taking lessons after everyone elses 7 year old frickin' prodigy.

Don't worry, you wont be, if anything, I would recommend it while you're still pleny young.

Obviously that would suck if I was 30...also if I were 30 it'd be kind of creepy to be on this forum...or no?
But maybe I'll start lessons this summer.

Most of my friends says that Im a prodigy playing piano (I think that isnt true, since my grades dont show it: only a 17/20[im in the 7th year of 8]), but I have alot and lot of pratise, since my piano compositions are terribly hard...
The only super thing that Im doing is learning Rachmaninoff's 2nd Concert (best music Ive heard in my whole life)....

i also play guitar...still learning some Irish popular songs
