I made a National History Day (NHD) paper a few weeks ago. Didn't expect it to go past an 80. It was supposed to be 2 grades. I got 99 on them both. I did it on the innovations of Beethoven and Mozart. NHD is also a school-state-nationwide competition, and my teacher thinks it might be good enough to get to the next level. About 20-30 papers were turned in out of her 7 classes. About 10-20 of them she took into consideration. At least I was one of them (but that was probably because I kept bothering her about the 1533 word paper in the process of making it)! I hope she picks mine to go into the 3 that she can pick for state/school(?) level. It's been a good week so far. Lucky too.

An okay week fro me I guess. Nothing great happened but nothing terrible happened. With my kind of luck, because this week was so neutral, I'll probably be killed in a devastating car accident next week.

Getting a 99% on something like an essay is virtually unheard of here.  I handed in my best work ever, and everyone agreed it was amazing yet I am given a 96%.  It's because we use the silly levels corresponding to percents system so I got a 4+ (A+) which corresponds to a 96 . I think I deserved a 99 considering there was about one thing wrong with it which was a capitalization error

^^ That sucks. I had about 4 mistakes in the essay, and I got 99. She was following NHD rubrics, so I got lucky and avoided a 70,

Career day today was, boring.

Now I have 30 questions of algebra hw to finish by Mon., a Starbucks resume (ELA) and a letter to turn in to my teacher, U.S. History vocab. to finish by Monday, and a Science Fair project (haven't started on) and Algebra test on Tuesday.

I realised just how much I suck at reading sheet music. When I learn VGM I hear the tune in my head right before I play it, hence, knowing which notes to play. This Grade 6 song, I have no idea how it goes, and I have to keep referring back to the sheet music. I can't memorise it!
