I'm already going to the Grand Canyon (which I really don't want to be, my mom's forcing me) which is only a few states away from the west coast. Seattle is not that unrealistic a vacation goal.

grand canyon is probably worse than yellowstone, but better than arches at least
all three of them are terrible because they're supposed to be beautiful and are located in the second deadest spot in the US

um it's more like a few people are by happenstance going to be in seattle during the summer, it's not a question of inclusivity

Actually it's because I was expecting a sheer cliff straight down when apparently it's supposed to be the width of the gap that amazes you. Screw that, I live in mountain country, we've got gaps all over the place.

I appreciate the trips, I just would rather not be going in the first place. I'm forced to go, but I enjoy myself as much as I can while hating being away from my house, which is still enjoying, but probably not as much as most people. The only reason I go on vacation is because my family forces me.

mostly because my friends don't share my love of vacations but that's a different story
