That's what I thought, but I'd seen this happen a few times in the recent past and thought maybe there was something everyone had that I was missing. I know for a fact that other forums running on the SMF engine can do this by default too.

Is there some setting somewhere to change whether or not quotes within a post you quote get copied into the quote? Right now whenever I quote a post it completely omits any quotes within that post, but I can see other people quote-quoting just fine.

If I may contribute my opinion, I think there should be a checkbox that enables up to two more layers (i.e. post, then quote, then another quote), with the rest being manual. Of course, I don't know how difficult that would be to add.
