Quote from: BlackDragonSlayer on May 03, 2016, 12:40:41 PMThere is a lot of great music from the older Sonic games, and (in my personal opinion) quite a lot of other Genesis games as well; even though the quality might not be the same as the SNES, it kind of has a different, almost gritty personality to it.

Quote from: BrainyLucario on May 04, 2016, 07:18:17 AMEnd of course exam time...yay? I can't believe how much I want school to be over. I have almost no free-time now. I can't even work on my sheet music or my story. I planned on making the next section super detailed but I've only had time  to write about 3 or 4 lines. I have a essay to write, an educational video to make, an original composition to finalize, an interactive map assignment, a music analysis to finalize, and a digitsl 3-D model to finish up. I'm dead inside.... Plus the AP exam is coming up so I have to study for that!
Mind you, I have 2 EOCs (Algebra 2's is tomorrow), that same AP Test, On-Demand Writing, and similar classes as you. You just dug yourself in a hole for Art History by not turning in projects when they were due. :/

You mean a thing that happened some time ago is older now and it's suddenly dawning on you that an equal amount of time has passed for you as well? How revolutionary.

It's currently 5:33 and I can't seem to get to sleep.

Ruto

Yesterday I was telling my chemistry professor about my second Eurotrip and she actually said "well don't come back pregnant."

WHATTTTTT

HOW

WHY

She seems so serious and humorless all the time so I totally didn't see that coming and started turning red and stammering...bleh

I seem to be missing a piece of my ear.

Nitro Indigo

The more videos I watch about Rise of Lyric, the more it reminds me of The Legend of Spyro. And then I feel bad for thinking that.
(It's mainly the graphics, because ProJared said it looks like a PS2 game, and the lighting sort of reminds me of A New Beginning.)

...I also almost typo'd "New" as "Mew".

I remember playing LoS: A New Beginning as a kid. I loved that game a lot, but I think I only made it to the final boss battle, then I eventually gave up on trying to beat it.
When given the choice between adulting and music, choose music every time.

Nitro Indigo

I got A New Beginning a few months ago, beat it, started replaying it, discovered Enter the Dragonfly was on GameCube (I'd previously owned another PS2 a couple of years ago, but sold it), so I sold it along with my newer PS2 (which was actually an older model, but that's besides the point) so I could afford it. And The Thousand-Year Door. ANB is on GameCube, but I'm not sure if that version is any good, mainly because I'm assuming the FMV cutscenes will be letterboxed.

Does it make me weird if I download the full OST of Paper Mario, Super Paper Mario, the Galaxy series, the Zelda series, the Maplestory series, and the Pokemon series, move them to my phone, and listen to that music every day? :P

Nebbles

My iTunes is exclusively video game OSTs. It's not weird.

Nitro Indigo

The only music I listen to is from video games.

Speaking of Paper Mario, I'm selling some stuff to Cex tomorrow to afford The Thousand-Year Door. I'm worried I'll started thinking to hard about the Complacent Gaming Syndrome mention on its Snark Wiki TV Tropes YMMV page... =/

I've watched The Meteor so many times now that I feel like writing a bodyswap story, probably a fanfic of something. In the meantime, I'll start brain dumping my ideas for A Delayed Game Is Good Eventually, a fanfic about the personifications of video games.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.
It just feels awkward saying I listen to video game music.

"Hey, what music are you listening to?"
"Ummmm.....Dooplis' theme."
"?"
"It's from a game..."
"..........."

I don't know how many conversations ended like that... :(

Oh well. :)

And Nitro, you will LOVE the Thousand Year Door. It will be so fun, trust me. :)
And what's The Meteor?

Nitro Indigo

Call me Indigo, and The Meteor is an episode of Sonic Boom. The cartoon's actually pretty decent.

I already know the plot of TTYD because MarioWiki (I first got interested in it when someone compared it to Spirit Tracks on a YouTube comment years ago), so I don't need to worry about spoilers too much, but I still want to be surprised by some things. I can never get into LPs of it; years ago, I tried watching Chugga's and stopped watching at Glitzville. Is it more fun to play for yourself?

Nebbles

It is very fun to play, although you made a great choice by watching Chugga.
